ARLINGTON, Texas — Kansas State defensive end Meshak Williams was injured late in the first half of the Cotton Bowl after helmet-to-helmet contact with a teammate while trying to make a tackle.
Kansas State officials said after the game that Williams had been released from the hospital and was going back to the hotel to join the team. They said he was moving all extremities and doing OK.
